What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar storage, such as local storage, can remember a setting on your device.
What GuessDuel uses
GuessDuel currently uses only technology needed to operate the service:
- Authentication cookie — keeps a signed-in account secure.
- Player identifier — connects guesses and game progress to the same browser or account.
- Anti-forgery cookie — protects forms such as sign-in and signup from malicious requests.
- Local preferences — remembers light/dark mode and whether this notice has been dismissed.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, personalisation or marketing cookies, and no third-party advertising cookies are set by GuessDuel. Because the listed technologies are strictly necessary or store a user-requested preference, they are not controlled through an advertising consent panel.
Managing storage
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account login, saved game progress, security protection or preferences from working correctly.
Changes and contact
If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before they are used. Questions can be sent to (MISSING).
