Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GuessDuel. The service is operated by (MISSING), Sweden. Contact: (MISSING).

1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using GuessDuel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use GuessDuel on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. Users under 18 should have permission from a parent or guardian; the service is not intended for children under 13.

2. The service

GuessDuel is a free estimation game offering Daily Challenges and Duels. Questions, scoring, availability and features may change. We do not promise that every question, explanation, opponent or score will be error-free or continuously available.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity on your account. Usernames must not impersonate others, infringe rights, contain unlawful or abusive material, or mislead users. A username may ordinarily be changed once every 14 days.

4. Fair play and acceptable use

You may not cheat, automate answers, manipulate scores or matchmaking, probe or bypass security, overload the service, scrape it at scale, introduce malicious code, access another account, or use GuessDuel unlawfully. Do not submit content that infringes another person’s rights.

5. Intellectual property

GuessDuel’s software, design, branding, illustrations, question presentation and original content belong to (MISSING) or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

6. Payments

GuessDuel currently does not charge users or process payments. If paid features are introduced, applicable prices and additional terms will be shown before purchase.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect GuessDuel or its users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or respond to a serious or repeated breach. Where appropriate, we will provide notice.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on hosting, database and infrastructure providers. Their availability may affect GuessDuel. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not mean we control or endorse them.

9. Disclaimers and liability

GuessDuel is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, profits or opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed SEK 1,000. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service where reasonably possible. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms, subject to mandatory law.

11. Swedish law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Please contact (MISSING) first so we can try to resolve a dispute. A Swedish consumer may also contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent Swedish court, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.

12. General

If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
